Coaches Comment: Marcus is a quality player that is a true athlete.  His work ethic and commitment to the team has given him the opportunity to step up his game by signing on a two way contract with the Nottingham Panthers.  He is generally quiet and unassuming and just gets on with his job.  I worked with Marcus in 2009 with the GB Unis team that played at the World Student Games in Harbin, China and was one of the players that scored in the loss against Team Canada.  He is an inspiration to the players that want to patrol the blue line and I am sure he will pass on a lot to them this season.
